Why did you chose this character? : I chose this character because Mary Poppins(Julie Andrews) was the first movie I ever saw in a movie theatre. We were living in Japan so the movie had Japanese subtitles but I remember thinking it was just the most amazing thing I had ever seen and since then the movie and Julie Andrews have always held a special place in my heart.

Additional comment / experience while making the bear you want to add:Making the bear was so much fun and reminded me of happy times. My second biggest challenge was making  her umbrella. I had in my mind that I must make one that opens and closes. I was finally successful but the one in the picture just stays open. My biggest challenge was taking her photo. I very much wanted to give the information that she was flying and tried many times. Finally our good friend Anita Ekelo from Holland suggested I suspend her and get her to cast a shadow. I did and right away I knew the picture would be perfect.
